Vice Chairman

Mrs. Folake Kayode, born six decades ago is the first female Vice-chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA , and coincidentally the pioneer Supervisor of the Department of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in the locality, where she served from 2012 to 2014.

She subsequently served as Special Adviser on Budget, Research, Statistics and Planning to the Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA from 2017 to 2021, due to her altruistic and passionate commitment to building a prosperous Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, she was elected along with her boss on a joint ticket as second citizen of the locality in July 2021.

Educated at the Prestigious University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,she obtained a Bachelor Degree in English in 1979 and later bagged a Masters degree in Public Administration in 1983 from the University of Lagos.

Mrs. Folake Kayode started her working career in 1980, where she taught English Language at Lagos State Teaching Service Commission, Surulere, and later proceeded to become an Assistant Registrar at Lagos State Polytechnic. From 1987 to 2000, she also served at Yaba College of Technology as a Senior Assistant Registrar, the Secretary to the then college committees, and student affairs matters.
