Mayor Dele Oshinowo unveils ICT lab at Community Junior High School, Alapere
Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA has commissioned an ICT laboratory aimed at providing digital training for teachers and students of five public junior secondary schools in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. Located at Community Junior High School, Alapere with a mandate to train 2,400 individuals, the ICT was put in place by Bunmi Adedayo Foundation, Tasty and Patent Pathways International. The ICT laboratory is fully equipped with children compliant features to ensure students in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA become the future of digital revolution. Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, the chairman commended the initiators for providing a good access for students and teachers in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA to connect to the global world. While appealing to other well- meaning individuals and corporate organizations to partner with the LCDA for the progress of humanity, the chairman explained that the ICT laboratory will take away children from social vices and ensure technology builds foundational steps to catch the students at a younger age. One of the major highlights at the event was also the provision of free dental care to students of Community Junior High School, Alapere.
