Harnessing brighter future for girl-child remains our topmost priority - Tawakalitu Oshinowo, As Councillor Odegbesan emerges Commandant of Girls' Brigade (District 11)

The wife of the Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mrs. Tawakalitu Oshinowo has reiterated the commitment of the Mayor Dele administration to protect the girl child from abuse and rewarding them with a brighter and better future.
She made this disclosure while witnessing the decoration of the Deputy Leader,Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council, Councillor Oluwatoyin Odegbesan as Commandant of Girls' Brigade (District 11). At a well-attended program held at Christ Anglican Church, Alapere,Mrs. Oshinowo expatiated on the importance of the Girls' Brigade in helping the girl child to grow spiritually, morally and physically. She further noted that the LCDA will collaborate extensively with the new the leadership of the organisation to ensure its guiding principles and core values are tapped to train the girl child in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
Earlier, the new commandant, Councillor Oluwatoyin Odegbesan urged parents to spur their children to join the organization, stressing that it will path a righteous way for them to progress in life.
